This is how I feel right now. In case you’re wondering, it’s meant to be a picture of a broken Superman logo heart. Yeah, doesn’t look good, but that’s fine because it looks the way I feel.

It’s been days since he said he’d call me, but I’m never heard back from him. And I doubt I ever will. Now what should I do?

Update 3 (9:23 PM)
Just got back from the store. I dropped my brand-new phone, the touchscreen shattered, and I tried to get it replaced under warranty. The guy told me warranty won’t cover it, and that I should have gotten an extended warranty when I had the chance. Luckily I kept my old phone, which I’m stuck with for another 3 years. *sigh*

Update 2 (8:40 PM)
Okay, so I went and bought a new phone. It was kind of expensive, and I had to renew my cell phone contract for another 3 years, but the guy told me it’s the best one on the market right now. He tried to sell me an extended warranty, but my mom told me those are always a rip-off. I’m glad my mom’s still around to tell me what to do

Anyway, now that I have a new phone, I shouldn’t miss Superman’s calls anymore. Can’t wait!

Update 1 (2:32 PM)
My phone hasn’t rang today. 0 new voicemails, 0 text messages. Something’s wrong with it, why else wouldn’t he have called me? Stupid phone. I hate you, phone!

Still Waiting for that Phone Call

Update 3 (11:45 PM)
No calls from him yet. Oh well. I was too busy to talk to him today anyway. I’m sure he’ll call tomorrow. Maybe my phone doesn’t work? I sort of dropped it one of the times I checked to see if he was calling. It landed on my pillow, but it’s a firm pillow and might be too firm for my phone to handle. Also, the pillow was wet from my tears at the time, so maybe my phone got some water damage?

He still hasn’t called me yet. I don’t know what to do. Maybe he’s busy saving a damsel in distress… sometimes I wish I could be a damsel in distress. Or maybe he was captured by Lex Luthor or Doomsday or Darkseid or something? I hope he wasn’t captured!

Update 1 (3:00 PM)
As an update to my previous post, Superman still hasn’t called me. Oh well. I’m sure he’s busy and has more important things to do. I hope my phone is working fine, the battery is getting kind of low so maybe I should charge it while I wait for him to call me.

What’s really cool is that Batman didn’t demand all of my money to have the picture taken. He let me keep enough change so that I could take the bus back home. Oh, and Superman promised he’d call me later. I can’t wait to hear back from him!

Have you ever wondered what life would be like if you ever met Batman? I often have wondered, and I’m lucky that I somehow did meet him at a comic convention, as unlikely as that is. Back when I made my last post about meeting Bats (he hates being called that, or at least he pretends to hate it), it gave me the idea for a comic. At last, I’ve made the comic, and you can view it right here. And here. And here as well.
